Bowing Out

I am at a loss for speech this week.
I wish I had more words to speak.
My brain is on vacation now,
So for tonight I’ll take a bow,
And hope tomorrow brings more thoughts,
Not filled with fear or anxious fraught.
I’ll rest my mind and hope to find
Some brighter jewels that I can mine.
I may come out with soot on face
But it’s a worthy chance to take.
